DiMAC sprl, a leading manufacturer of high-performance digital
airborne mapping cameras with patented True Forward Motion Compensation, announced today that it is
releasing a new packaging of the standalone DiMAC ULTRALiGHT+ that takes advantage of recent technology
advances for a more robust, flexible and reliable design.
The DiMAC ULTRALiGHT+ is a high-resolution mapping camera with fully-embedded Forward Motion
Compensation (FMC) technology for an exceptional data product. The new camera controller increases data
reliability with solid state data storage capability and robust system status monitoring. Built into a 8.5” rack, the
controller is highly compact, ensuring easy installation on any aircraft.
The technologies and architecture used in the new controller (IT Cube) will later be transferred to the large-format
digital camera DiMAC WiDE+. This will ensure upgradeability and sustainability between all DiMAC product lines.
